The Blood and The Rose is the story of damnation and salvation, of the divine miracle of unity that resurrected hope in the Americas and transformed our world.
The Virgin Mary appeared to an ordinary man. An extraordinary man of faith, this humble man, Juan Diego, was a messenger eagle. This apparition becameknow as the Virgin of Guadalupe. The beautiful miracle of that day is chronicled in this story and through her a people were converted and a catholic identity was formed. The struggle of good vs. evil is the eternal battle for our souls.
